Bench press with pause Rack up 4 holder up+3 72.5, 77.5, 82.5kg
Kettle clean and press 20kg, short rest between first second set 24kg 2 on left needed leg assist, messed up earlier rep and tired that side
Incline press 45 degree rack up 8 start at bottom of press 60, 62.5, 65kg
Dips on suspension trainer 10, 8, 4.5

Running 12-Mar-2013

Running back on track for journey in at least 37 minutes 10 seconds giving speed of 7 2/3 mph will see if the run home damages the average.

Run home was 38:56 which should have made me unhappy as it made yesterday's average just off target. However I know for certain that I spent well over a minute, in fact possibly more than 2 marking time at the side of roads waiting for traffic to get out of my way.

I could try silly things like stopping the watch when I pause but that would be a bad measure too as each of these is a rest. Personally prefer the days when I don't have to stop at all.

The week off that wasn't

Last week looked like there would be no training at all. Fortunately I managed to get some in, though nothing like a normal week.
Work decided it would be a great idea to go to a very beautiful part of the world where the name tells you the climate perfectly. I would be lying if I said there were parts I didn't thoroughly enjoy but the company could have been better, ideally wife and son rather than colleagues. Many of my colleagues are fine but we do have to be paid to spend time together so not the same as those I chose to spend my life with.
The gym was a hotel version stated as suitable for all types of workout, with dumbbells reaching a massive 10kg, some cardio gear and a small multi-gym. Not the worst but definitely over stated on all types of workout.
I don't know all of the details of weights etc. but I did what I could there and had a run, more than I feared and I think enough to ensure I can get back to proper training this week.
Not going to run this evening, the trip tired me a lot so will either walk or call in a lift.

The earlier part was entertaining my son for his birthday, a process covering 2 days and all involved loved it. Would have happily done that far longer.

Week off

Well I have tried and failed to figure out how to fit my son's birthday celebration, a work trip, and training.
It's not going to happen and this month in general is going to be difficult to train fully in so some of it will simply be missed.
Means next month will be catch up time, but a couple of things this month are more than worth it.
